The Importance of Communication

Humans longed to communicate with their surroundings since the earliest of times. They turned caves into canvases, stones into inscription tools, and weaved their thoughts in books.

In our day and age, humans are producing more than 14 million messages every minute on the world wide web. In contempt of this all, companies continue to fail at this elementary task. This is simply because the leaders focus on running the business and solving problems than communicating enough with their teams.

To build winning teams, CEOs need to carve out the time to communicate with their teams. I have found that committing the time in my schedule to do so reaps great results. I now look forward to my time with my team, be it over a coffee or a call. There is so much to learn from everyone.
