Renault Global Partners Award – A Win We Won’t Forget!
It was a tremendous moment for our AMA family as we emerged victorious, and I am incredibly, incredibly proud of my team.
For the first time ever we won the prestigious Renault’s Global Partners Award. To put this into perspective, this is the highest accolade for dealers granted for exceptional performance in Sales and Aftersales, also referred to as the P.A.R.I.S. Challenge.
We were up against some of the strongest contenders globally. But because every single person on our team committed to becoming the best version of themselves and producing their best work, we became the best of the best. A huge congratulations and thank you to you all.
The backstory
In 2019, our team saw impressive growth and performance of Renault as a result of their hard-work and efforts, which ended as a record-breaking year. AMA sold more cars than ever before and achieved impressive scores on After-Sales, Market Share, Sales Volume and Customer Satisfaction. We received global attention from our Principals at Renault which motivated and encouraged us. In their own words, they said, “What you did in the past three years is exceptional and one of the best success stories the brand has witnessed throughout its history.” We are very grateful and say a huge thank you to Marwan Haidamous and Bernard Chretien for recognising our hard work and efforts!
· Project Falcon is a strategic project we started three years ago to prepare for Industry 4.0, to leverage emerging technology and directly address changes to customer buying behavior. As part of this, AMA created an omnichannel experience and launched the UAE’s first automotive e-commerce platform.
· It’s always about understanding our customer’s problems and knowing how we can really give value. The Renault Abu Dhabi team enhanced their approach to become more customer-centric, and through this we successfully raised intrigue about these industry-leading, charming and innovative French cars!
· Our team’s efforts to fully utilize creativity and innovation from start to finish through highly engaging and interactive campaigns and promotions, tapped into new customer segments, expanded Renault's diverse portfolio of offerings, and maximized our online presence.
· We successfully inaugurated the 'R-Store', a pioneering state-of-the-art facility that explains our high standards and best practices. This led to a surge in domestic sales and a more diversified portfolio of customers than preceding years.
Yes, our Abu Dhabi customers have rekindled their love for French cars and developed a stronger affinity towards the Renault brand. But this win is not the end of the race for us. We are committed to further reinforcing and showcasing how desirable, dependable and reliable Renaults are.
Winning this award comes just one year after we received the coveted Nissan Global Award 2019 – NSC (National Sales Company). These accolades are a reflection of our long-term strategy that keeps the customer at the center of everything we do. Our talented teams are all committed to creating an outstanding customer experience, which starts with a powerful strategy and absolute precision in execution.
We can build award-winning operations in all areas of our business because our strategy reaches across our entire organization, guiding every team as we strive to set the global standard for excellence in sales and customer care.
